Greetings from Montana!

How was your Thanksgiving?  We ate and visited, baked, played games, made a snow Turkey, watched football and had our first annual Christmas Challenge.

 after the warm wind came up Thanksgiving Day, he unfortunately lost his head, but his tail still looks pretty good.  I am not sure what he looks like to the folks driving by at this point.

Here is how the Christmas challenge worked; early this year, we were each given a box of Christmas decorations to make our own sculptures, collages or whatever you want to call it.  We each had either identical or really similar items.  The sculptures were unveiled on Thanksgiving Day and we voted for our favorites.  The whole process was extremely entertaining to the adults; I am not sure what the two grand nieces thought.  Their constructions were among the best, I thought.                           Well, we were tired after the viewing and the voting and had to eat again.

Our family is planning another get together at Christmas; we feel really lucky to have most of them close so we can enjoy them, tease them and make them play games until late at night.
